One would think that if the tracks are old enough, they would not in any sense be competitive with todays Muzak selections offered to subscribers now. Can someone address this question? Thanks! I’ve been trying to locate both information and transcriptions of the APS/Muzak TV Production music library which was available to TV stations in the early 1950s. I’ve been collecting recordings from background and mood music recorded libraries for over 30 years including many from England. There is not much information about this service other than an advertisement in a TV trade journal circa 1954.

Have you run across any information, such as catalogs or listings, which might enlighten me? I would be most appreciative for any help you can give me.
